The scanning process at the gate

Since April 2006, customers of the multi-storey car park »Mauritius Galerie« in Wiesbaden have been able to pay for parking with their mobile phone after registering online. The barcode shown on the display is scanned on entry at the barrier. Afterwards, the mobile can then display the current parking time and costs if required. When customers drive out of the car park their electronic parking ticket is automatically billed online.
