The REA Group with its headquarters in the vicinity of Darmstadt is a company operating internationally with a total of 200 employees. We have been developing demanding and customised solutions for 26 years for our partners from industry, trade and the service sector in the fields

• Industrial identification systems

• Noncash payment transactions

• Customer bind programs based on the mobile phone

• Barcode test devices

In the course of our further expansion in the field of customer bind programs and payment systems with the mobile phone we are looking for a software developer to start as soon as possible

Your tasks
Your focus is the development of software and the development and support of QS processes. Experience in object-oriented development and web technologies would be of advantage. You will play an active part in the project team involved in the further development of our products.

Development environment:
Java / JEE (Glassfish), JSF / Facelets, Netbeans, J2ME, Oracle, Hibernate, Linux

Your profile

• A university, university of applied sciences degree in computer sciences or a comparable skill and training as IT specialist or a specialist with comparable vocational training
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
• Excellent know-how in object-oriented, server and client Java programming
• Experience in the conception and configuration of software quality assurance systems
• Capacity for team work and the ability to handle conflicts
• Preference for communication, documentation and playing a part with own ideas
• A good command of the German and English languages
• A command of Unix and UML desirable
• Ability to work independently and under pressure essential
• Interested to work in an innovative environment
