All-in-one: making payments with your mobile

Two distinct variants have emerged for mobile phone based payments:

• With »postpaid« payments, your customers can enjoy the convenience of using their mobile phone to pay for items at the point of sale and then check their expenditure at any time afterwards.

As has been shown at the WincorWorld exhibition in Paderborn, use of the payment option in conjunction with ATMs is already a reality.

Here, REA Mobile’s predecessor FunkTicket demonstrated jointly with WincorNixdorf how the use of cash machines can be made safer with the aid of mobile phone technology. Visitors to the exhibition confirmed that the new system did not make it any more complicated to withdraw money from ATMs. With »rea-dy client«, a dynamic transaction code (TAN) can be created which is only valid for a limited period of time, thus making it safer to withdraw money than with a bank card.
